RE: Galaxy Quest
This used to be one of my favorite movies as a kid, Tim Allen is classic.

RE: Galaxy Quest
This is such an awesomely corny and classic movie. Now that I think about it, it had quite a good cast.

RE: Galaxy Quest
Omgod, I loved this movie.

Omgod, I STILL do love this movie. There were a lot of fabu performances by a lot of fabu actors. The writing was pretty crisp, and I felt the direction had great sympathy for the actors' own characters which added to the their impact in the movie. Sigourney Weaver stole the movie for me. I've watched repeats of almost all the scenes she's been in repeatedly, and can never stifle a laugh over her dead-pan delivery.

Smile

gogo

RE: Galaxy Quest
Alan Rickman, Sigourney Weaver and Tim Allen paying homage not just to Star Trek in a roundabout way, but to Science Fiction fandom; what's not to love? I saw this when it was originally released and watched it again a couple of years ago. I didn't think it would age well, but you know what? It was still good. One of the best Sci-fi comedies ever, IMO.

RE: Galaxy Quest
I am not a big sci-fi fan, but this was good. The cast is awesome. Alan Rickman is top and the rest is amazing as well.

RE: Galaxy Quest
i agree, alan rickman is great. i love the scene where the captain with the hangover just tells them to fire, because he still thinks that it is all a fake Smile
