I love to be open minded but this looks a lil corny. It looks as if someone has a red flashlight they're shining on the computer :/ BUT I hope it's real

The red flashing light would have been reflected from his camera, ie: it was a function of his camera, probably. It does seem a rather strange way to post a picture...
